Dina Pruzhansky`s chamber opera Shulamit centers on the bold and beautiful lover taken by King Solomon. The work will be song in Hebrew and Yiddish as personification and intersection of two worlds-the Tanakhic and the modern. Conducted by dr. Sofia Mazar, directed by Andrei Munteanu opera focuses on a love triangle among the peasant girl Shulamit, mighty King Solomon and the dashing young shepherd, whom Shulamit loves.
